The New Yorker

The internets, the news networks, and people aplenty are all atwitter about the recent New Yorker cover showing the Obamas fistbumping. In case you've been under a rock, go here to see the picture. What do people mention about the picture? Michelle's terrorist garb, Barack's Muslim garb, the fistbump, the burning flag, and the picture of "Osama" over the fireplace.

Obviously the picture was aimed at those who know the general tenor of The New Yorker magazine--liberal, to say the least. Obviously, that strategy has backfired. But it's much ado about nothing. Neither the magazine nor Obama will be hurt by this--it's just publicity.

So the only thing I'm going to say is that I thought it was Khalid Sheikh Mohammed's picture above the mantle, not Osama. My bad.
