Authorities are investigating the death of a kitten that was left hanging
on a utility line in a Buffalo neighborhood.
Police say the cat was apparently strangled when someone tied a shoelace around the animal's neck and threw it over the utility line, with a sneaker still attached to the other end of the shoelace.
