Here We Go Again

Now it's Palin's church that's going under the magnifying glass.

And it was at that Bible Church where a recent guest described a Palestinian attack on Israeli citizens as part of God's judgment coming to pass on Earth -- an analysis likely troubling both to Jews, as well as to mainstream foreign policy analysts.
Describing a trip by his son to Jerusalem, Jews for Jesus founder David Brickner described the a July Palestinian bulldozer attack against Israeli civilians as part of God's "judgment."

Is anyone going to talk about any issues? No wonder I don't feel like voting for any of these fools.

People don't care about issues anymore. Majority of America still get their news from crap like Enquirer and US weekly. But if your not voting for someone this election I recommend you vote against someone.

Good blog!

What issues should they talk about in regards to Palin? She is where she is not because of a visionary nature or some sort of solid grounding in international or even domestic politics, but because she's an obvious pander.

Not just in regards to her, QJ, but in General. I believe that I'm currently suffering from Minister Malaise.

Hotrod, since I've never seen you here before I'll reiterate what I've said previously: I vote a split ticket based on individual stances on issues, and do not belong to any party; however, until the Republican Party removes deliberately discriminatory language from its national platform, they will not receive my vote for president. Governor, yes, but not president. That is my form of protest against the platform.

As for Obama--well, I've written plenty about him on my old blog that shows how credible I find him to be. (*note sarcasm)

Now I find that this Palin woman wanted to ban books?!?! I can say with minimal hyperbole that I find few greater sins among men!

So thank you, but I doubt I'll be casting a vote in the presidential race this season.

I'm so nonpartisan, I hate them all.

Banning books? Have not heard that one. Details?

Here's what right wing pundits really think of Mrs. Palin:

Well, well, "John Santos" is back.

Well, everyone deserves a second chance, I guess.

Better get the name right this time, though. :)

Here, Tommy.

"She asked the library how she could go about banning books," he says, because some voters thought they had inappropriate language in them. "The librarian was aghast." That woman, Mary Ellen Baker, couldn't be reached for comment, but news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire Baker for not giving "full support" to the mayor.

News accounts of the time can be found (for a fee) at AnchorageDailyNews. Viewing the free precis of the article, however, one finds this account to be historically accurate.

Yeah, NDT and when I take a shit it lands on you.

As far as that link, I'm fairly certain you don't need to remind anyone who I am, least of all, Jamie.

Well, everyone deserves a second chance, I guess.

Well, Jamie, I figured that Peggy Noonan clip wasn't getting enough play so I posted it here. Consider it a peace offering.

Oooh, a grade school taunt.

Sort of like how, when you were asked to explain exactly how Bristol Palin and her fiancee broke the state statute you cited, you then turned to attacking my relationship with my mother.

OK, ladies, please take the personal attacks on each other elsewhere. I have enough arguments of my own going on right now to deal with.
