Your Advice For The Day

Read This.

Now read this

NOW read this:

A gay anarchist group infiltrated the Mt. Hope Church in Eaton County Sunday morning, disrupting a service by pulling a fire alarm, dropping leaflets and yelling at parishioners, a pastor said.
The group, Bash Back, was simultaneously picketing outside the church, beating on buckets and using a megaphone to shout “Jesus was a homo” and other slogans as confused churchgoers continued to enter the building.

You know, most religious folk are decent people at heart that honestly believe homosexuality is a sin and have no deeper feeling on the subject. Alienating them further is not going to garner votes. It's that simple. To those of you shouting at the top of your lungs "gay uncle tom!"--know that without the Uncle Toms to lead the way, a lot of white folks wouldn't have had a more enlightened view of black people 150 years ago. If the "gay movement" continues to play to the left only, then we're sunk.

No, more is accomplished by a single instance of lucid explanation than by thousands screaming in anger, no matter how valid the feeling.

Do we really have to defend ourselves from anarchists? I mean seriously it's ludicrous that I have to apologize for the actions of others when they are clearly disturbed.
I mean NDT would have us all believe that we have to deny ourselves love and affection in this life time because some where someone has had a bad experience with gays and therefore everyone (except NDT) must forswear ever having sex, expressing a pro gay opinion, or being allowed to be married. I am getting tired of being expected to keep every gay in the world in line with the high expectations of a few when they hold themselves or all heteros to the same standards.

Ask all the black people who are pulled over regularly because of racial profiling, Tim. I'm sure they feel the same way.

The sorry truth is that people believe stereotypes until they are proven otherwise. Guilty until proven innocent. That's American society for you.
